Much was revealed regarding the viciousness exhibited by Rasen’s sisters and the doomed alliance between the Maytons and the Golden Tiger Clan. Being Mayton, the Golden Tiger Clan’s suspicion of Rasen was understandable. With the help of the Tutanka’s Canine, he manages to persuade them just barely.
If Rasen wanted to be on level with his sisters, he had to acquire Kirtel’s tasks. That could only happen if he personally laid Tutanka’ Canine on his altar. Pretty astutely, Rasen attempted to persuade the Golden Tiger Clan of his legitimacy by utilizing the plot holes of his manuscript. Since Mirang is the one who had the Tutankha’s canine, he offers to lead Rasen to the Golden Tiger’s hamlet in the previous chapter of Youngest Scion of the Mages. She seemed to be in a real hurry to return to the village, which is puzzling considering that she had previously admitted that the locals had bullied her.
