In his search for his new residence, Tsubasa encounters Minami Fuyuki, a gregarious and outgoing Hokkaido native who braves the chilly weather in a miniskirt. Tsubasa learns that he isn’t only overwhelmed by the winter weather as the girl immediately starts talking to him.

Surprisingly, Tsubasa finds out the next day that Fuyuki is a student in his class and that her seat is directly across from his. After giving in to Fuyuki’s relentless pursuit, the young man finds himself enchanted by Hokkaido and the stunning girl who is hell-bent on being his girlfriend. Tsubasa learns that the Hokkaido women are cute as he gets to know Fuyuki and the other stylish girls at school.

Review

Indeed, the Hokkaido gal is quite cute manga and anime. The animation, music, and characters all exude an infectious sense of joy and positivity. Allow us ample time to savor the innocence of this romance animation, which features minimal tension.

Additionally, the story begins in a straightforward manner, with two wonderful people meeting, rather than in an outrageous and confusing manner. Good, peaceful animation. A good lad and some girls with plenty of “assets” and even more compassion populate the story. The story is weak, but what really draws you in is the tender, loving moment between a newbie and an established couple.
