As the plot develops, Chilchuk informs his companions that he has discovered the secret to the dungeon’s ever-changing layout. This occurs simultaneously with Marcille’s realization that they had returned to the location where they consumed the Red Dragon before. Just then, Laios sees a wall with a fracture in it and goes over it.
A shadowy figure materializes out of nowhere, alerting Laios to the fact that a magician is keeping tabs on him. Because of his fear, Laios informs the others about the man’s words immediately.
Then, not long after that, Marcille senses the proximity of a little dragon. Surprising everyone, she responds by shoving Chilchuk against the wall, which ends up absorbing him. After that, they’ll utilize this wall to get to a different section of the dungeon.
After he is out of harm’s way, Laios investigates the wall more and discovers that it is spitting out liquid. He informs the party that these are from the Dungeon Cleaners, a group of beings responsible for maintaining the dungeon by fixing damage and removing impediments.
He assures them that these creatures aren’t typically harmful, but that they will eliminate any obstacle that stands in their path. Following that, they take a little rest and begin to eat. Laios discusses his recent bizarre visions while they dine.
When the Laios return to society, Chilchuk advises that they visit a doctor. A gigantic spider swoops down and ensnares Laios in its silk, abruptly ending their break. Meanwhile, Shuro’s henchmen show up and kidnap Marcille, Chilchuk, and Senshi. A tense situation develops when Shuro intervenes when his ally Maizuru proposes hurting one of Laios’s buddies.
