Sato Yumiko, whose stage name is Utanane Yasume, starts her day by getting ready, as her mother listens to the radio program in which Yasume guest stars. Yumiko discusses her job with her mom while they have breakfast. Rewinding to the studio, Mirei, Chika (also known as Yuhi), and Yasume are guests on the ‘High School Radio’ program. As is customary for them, Chika and Yasume argue after the show since their relationship is strained. Here in the present, Yumiko tells her mom how she feels about their strained relationship.
As they stroll to get croquettes, Yuhi and Yasume talk about their contrasting personalities on the radio show, revealing the masks they wear. As they had discussed on the broadcast, Yuhi wants to cut down on the lies by doing something as easy as purchasing croquettes. Yumiko concurs, praising Yuhi’s strategy. They buy croquettes, eat them together, and then post a selfie on social media to show off their closeness.
In the second episode, Yumiko meets Kagasaki Ringo at a cafe. Ringo tells her about her recent voice-acting role as a sister in the anime Under the Purple Sky. Yumiko can’t wait to collaborate with Sakuranamiki Otome once more. Yumiko questions if Yuhi’s casting as the second sister was based on her actual abilities, though, after finding out about the casting news.
