Riot Games joined forces with Microsoft’s subscription service Xbox Game Pass in December 2022. This unlocked features for some of the publisher’s titles, such as League of Legends, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, and Valorant.
Valorant players can take advantage of Game Pass by unlocking all agents immediately as soon as their Riot account is connected to the Microsoft account. Players will also be granted access to the new agents right after they are introduced to the game.
These perks can be great for any Valorant player, but it’s especially good for people who don’t have a lot of time to invest in the game and are struggling to unlock agents. One good trick is to subscribe to Game Pass for a month or two, figure out what agents you would like to unlock, and then work toward unlocking them after the subscription is over and they can’t play with every agent anymore.

To get the advantages of having a Game Pass subscription in the game, however, players must learn to link Riot account to the Microsoft account that has an active Game Pass subscription.
Once players have completed these steps, they should be able to use the benefits of the Game Pass subscription in their Valorant account. Once players stop paying for the subscription, they will lose access to the agents they are yet to unlock.
