Pokémon Go’s Sustainability Week 2024 is happening soon and It starts from April 22nd to 26th. In this event, there are special Pokémon and bonuses to enjoy. Trubbish and Combee are the main attractions this time. Remember Bounsweet from last year? Well, this event is different but just as exciting. You will have a better chance of finding shiny Pokémon and your Buddy Pokémon will get special bonuses. There are fun challenges and tasks to complete too. This year’s Sustainability Week in Pokémon Go might seem different to some players. Last time, in 2023, we met Bounsweet and its evolved forms but in 2024 there are new things to enjoy. This time, the spotlight is on finding more Shiny Pokémon and getting bonuses for your Buddy Pokémon. Also, some Pokémon will hatch from 2km Eggs during the event. It is a chance for players to have more fun in the game.
You won’t find more wild Pokémon than usual during Sustainability Week 2024 but you will have a better chance of getting special Pokémon from 2km Eggs. There’s an even higher chance of getting a shiny version. Also, if you do special tasks you might get to catch these Pokémon as rewards.
This year’s Sustainability Week introduces three distinct bonuses related to Buddy Pokémon:
Increased rate of souvenirs and presents from Buddy Pokémon.
Extended adventure duration with Buddy Pokémon after feeding.
Halved distance requirement for obtaining Buddy Hearts.
Field Research Task Encounters
You can find special tasks at different PokeStops around the world during the special event. If you finish these tasks you might meet special Pokémon like Binacle, Combee, Drilbur, Trubbish and Foongus.
Event Collection Challenges
In the event, you can join Collection Challenges with event-related themes. If you finish these challenges, you will get rewards like Stardust and XP. You will need to catch and evolve certain Pokémon that are part of the event to complete them.
Event Egg Pokémon
If you hatch 2km Eggs during Sustainability Week 2024, you might get a special Pokémon. These Pokémon have a better chance of being shiny. The Pokémon you could get are Binacle, Trubbish, Combee, Drilbur and Foongus.
Event Pokémon Showcases
During Sustainability Week, there will be Pokémon Showcases highlighting certain creatures. If you catch and use event-themed Pokémon like Combee, Drilbur, Trubbish, Foongus and Binacle, you can earn lots of points in these showcases.
Pokémon Go’s Sustainability Week 2024 will be a fun event and you will get to play in a cool environment and do exciting stuff. You can catch special shiny Pokémon and complete fun challenges. It is all about having a good time and learning about taking care of the environment.
