Recap and Review

Two incredible incidents occurred in this episode involving Buchio. Defending Takumi from the Nue while diverting the Servant’s attention while he pretended to be Jirou.

I’ll admit that Jirou has had a lot on his plate, but it’s good to know that there are others who are rooting for us. Actually, you may count on their support in times of need. I am really proud of Mutsumi for standing up to prove that she can keep Jirou safe and forging ahead.

Thanks to a terrific plot twist that fleshed out Jiro’s character and revealed the snake as more than simply a villain—a beleaguered creature—they swiftly settled Mu’s issue with her dad.

Everything about this show—the whimsical, daily life with a yokai twist, the heartbreaking, heartfelt moments—has won me over. To say this episode is one of my favorites from this season—and maybe even an AotS contender—would be an understatement. I really hope it continues.
