In order to provide its worldwide player base with the chance to choose whatever organisations they want to support through Riot, Riot Games has announced that it would be putting together a charity voting campaign. The publisher stated that gamers contributed to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund by purchasing items like Valorant’s Give Back Bundle and Star Guardian skins for League of Legends. Through player donations, Riot Games is able to distribute more than $6 million USD from the Riot Games Social Impact fund to various charities. Riot Games has chosen 84 NGOs from 28 areas with the aid of its regional offices and the non-profit organisation (NPO), Global Giving. According to Riot Games, $6 million that was raised through various in-game fundraisers will be used to establish charity pools for each participating nation. Charity voting campaigns are a wonderful opportunity for players to let us know which causes and charities are important most to their communities because we believe in giving players a chance to make significant improvements in their local communities. The top players in the world are among us, and I’m interested to see which organisations they support, said Jimmy Hahn, senior manager of Social Impact, in a press release. Indian players can vote for one of three Indian NPOs or even switch to another location and vote.

How to cast your vote for a non-profit organisation from India

Players will be welcomed by the three charities from the qualified area closest to them when they visit the Riot Games Social Impact Fund voting page. They can next select a non-profit from the list or vote in another qualified nation where they wish their vote to be counted. Notably, each participant may only cast one vote. The charity receiving the most votes from each region will get 50% of that region’s charity pool after the voting session has ended. Each of the other two organisations will get 25%. Additionally, Riot Games has promised each participating NGO a minimum donation of $10,000 USD.
