The publisher stated that gamers contributed to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund by purchasing items like Valorant’s Give Back Bundle and Star Guardian skins for League of Legends. Through player donations, Riot Games is able to distribute more than $6 million USD from the Riot Games Social Impact fund to various charities. Riot Games has chosen 84 NGOs from 28 areas with the aid of its regional offices and the non-profit organisation (NPO), Global Giving. According to Riot Games, $6 million that was raised through various in-game fundraisers will be used to establish charity pools for each participating nation.
