Among the best action-fantasy anime is Hiroyuki Morita’s The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy. The 2019 light novel series of the same name by Y Shimizu served as the basis for this anime adaptation. There are thirteen books in it, and the fourteenth is on the way.
In the opening panel of the previous episode of The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy, we travel back in time by six years to the third assault garden. It was the beginning of the first major conflict between humans and monsters.
Riselia Ray Crystalia and Regina Mercedes are currently at a secure location with other citizens. Outside, a deadly conflict has just begun. We find afterward that Riselia Ray Crystalia’s father is a top-level military commander battling for the good of humanity. Her mother and sister, like all the knights, have never lost a fight. Thus, she advises Regina Mercedes that she need not be concerned.
After gaining the Holy Sword’s blessing, Riselia vows to fight alongside her father and the rest of the group. According to her, “I’m already entering preschool next week to start my training!” She was doing her utmost to offer Regina Mercedes hope of prevailing against the Voids. When she finds out that humanity has lost the war against the Voids, she completely botches the mission.
