Every year, a large number of new players join CSGO. It might be returning veterans or whole new players. CSGO skins, however, are what binds them together, aside from their shared passion of Counter-Strike. Each year, Valve provides a slew of new skins for users to choose from, and 2021 was no exception.

In 2021, we got Operation Riptide which came with 4 new Skin collections, namely:

  • The Train Collection
  • The Mirage Collection
  • The Dust2 Collection
  • The Vertigo Collection

The Riptide case came with a slew of new knife finishes for The Butterfly Knife, The Huntsman Knife, The Bowie Knife, The Falchion Knife, and Shadow Daggers, including Gamma Doppler and legend finishes.

Players weren’t slow to create new skins using old stickers of their choice, with the most popular being those from EMS One Katowice 2014, which include some of the best stickers ever seen in CSGO in the shape of iBuypower Holos and Titan Holos.

The Most expensive CSGO skins from 2021 –

  1.  ~$155,500 4x iBP M4A4 Howl
  2. ~$154,200 4x Reason AK-47 Wild Lotus
  3. ~$108,000 Mixed AWP Gungnir

 ~$155,500 4x iBP M4A4 Howl

The M4A4 Howl, which is part of the Huntsman collection, is the sole contraband item in CSGO since it was discontinued since the artists plagiarised the art from somewhere else. Despite this, several Howl skins remain in the game, and the most costly craft in 2021 was Kato 2014’s Howl with four iBuyPower Holos.

~$154,200 4x Reason AK-47 Wild Lotus

Although the AK-47 Wild Lotus originally part of the Shattered Web collection, it remains one of the most popular and greatest AK-47 skins. It was made with Kato 14’s Reason Gaming Holos.

~$108,000 Mixed AWP Gungnir

Next to the legendary Dragon Lore, the Gungnir is widely recognised as the best AWP skin. It was released as part of Operation Shattered Web and is still quite popular among Pros and Traders. It was made with Kato 14 stickers from Reason Gaming, Vox Eminor, Dignitas, and Team LDLC.
