On Nov. 29, 2022, in Chennai the Skyesports Championship 4.0 is here with registrations for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) and Dota 2 underway. The tournament provides a #PathtoPro for aspiring gamers with a major LAN event in Mumbai in December. The prize pool for Dota 2 at the Skyesports Championship 4.0 stands at a humongous $15,000. The top teams from the India qualifiers will go up against teams from SEA. For CSGO, on the other hand, prize money of $10,000 is up for grabs. Players can register for the tournament through the website here. Players must register as a team of five players with one optional substitute. Additionally, any player who doesn’t have a premade team can make use of the solo registrations option. Skyesports will be forming teams for these players based on their in-game ranks.

Registrations are live until Dec. 2. 

Commenting on the exciting tournament, Moin Ejaz, bronze medalist for India in Dota 2 at the Commonwealth Esports Championship said, “Dota 2 has a sizable community presence in India and I am sure that with the right support it can grow to be even bigger. For its fourth edition, the Skyesports Championship is expanding to another region in SEA. The top teams from the India Qualifiers will go up against invited teams from SEA. Finally, the top two teams will compete for the trophy in a LAN environment at the Skyesports Championship 4.0 in Mumbai. The venue will be open to a live audience where fans will be able to enjoy mini-games, experience brand booths, watch esports tournaments, and more for free.
