About Sand Land

The Sand Land manga, created by Akira Toriyama, was first published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from May to August 2000. It became really popular fast. Viz Media translated it into English, describing it as an amazing story set in a world wrecked by disaster where water is scarce and ruled by a mean leader. The main character is Sheriff Rao, who teams up with Beelzebub, the demon king’s son, and a tricky Thief. They’re on a dangerous mission to find a legendary lake. Along the way, they face tough challenges like dragons and bandits while battling against the king’s army.

Multimedia Expansion

After the manga and anime’s success, Sand Land is getting even bigger with a new role-playing game. It is set to come out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam on April 26 (April 25 in Japan).
