Hotaru, a first-year high school student at the age of sixteen, has always been conflicted about love, opting instead to have a full social life with her loved ones. So, she offers Hananoi-kun her umbrella without hesitation as they sit in the snow following a public and messy breakup. But the following day, as he approaches her in the midst of her lesson, she can’t help but sense that something monumental is about to happen in her life.
