The fans are hyped for Reign of the Seven Spellblades Episode 1 which is soon going to release. Now those who have read the novel would know how underrated this is. The fans were waiting for the anime adaptation for quite some time and now they finally have it. Since September 2018, more than eleven volumes have been released of the light novel. In addition to the planned anime series, the narrative has also been adapted into a manga series published under the Monthly Shonen Ace name.

Kimberly Magic Academy is the place where the series’ story begins. It’s springtime, and a whole new crop of pupils has just started classes. We also have a young man by the name of Oliver Horn who is one of the new recruits. This kid may have a childlike appearance, but deep down inside, he harbors a burning passion to accomplish something great. We learn later that our protagonist intends to exact vengeance upon the teaching staff of this institution for some awful previous event.
Over time, it becomes evident that Oliver Horn’s mother was brutally murdered by the school’s teachers. A samurai girl by the name of Nanao Hibiya traveled all the way from the faraway country of Yamatasu to attend this school, despite this being nothing more than the vengeance he seeks on his life. He is caught between his ultimate purpose and his strange fascination with Nanao Hibiya after learning about her and developing an insatiable desire to learn more about her. There are a number of other individuals in the novel beside her, all of whom our protagonists become fast friends.

The fact that not a single year in the school’s existence has passed without at least one student’s death adds a surprising and fascinating twist to what initially appears to be a fairly standard revenge plot. The big question now is whether or not Oliver and his pals will make it through the next seven years of school alive.
