The fans are excited for Kaiju No. 8 Episode 3 which will be out soon. Monster hunters are the protagonists of Kaiju No. 8. In the not-so-distant future, the Japanese Defense Force will be under constant attack from gigantic kaiju. They battle and vanquish these creatures with an arsenal of lethal weapons and suit enhancements. Although he isn’t strictly involved in “defense” operations, our hero Kafka Hibino is a member of the Japanese Defense Force.

Since he failed the trials long ago, his childhood friend Mina Ashiro became a famous kaiju fighter, but he is now stuck on the cleanup crew and has no choice but to clean up monster guts after battles. But all changes for him when a little kaiju flies into his gaping maw and bestows upon him the hidden power to become a kaiju himself. Kafka finally has a second chance at realizing his ambition since the Japanese Defense Force is reopening the combat team trials.

Recap and Review for Episode 2

Kafka tries to give the old guy a comforting grin after convincing Leno of his identity. Unfortunately, Leno falls unconscious due to the frightening sight of his face. As he leans on the wall for support, Kafka unknowingly releases a significant amount of force, stunning not only Leno but also himself. They decide to flee through the broken window in the middle of the mayhem, but Kafka rips the wall in two as he rips it open.

As far as anyone can tell, Kafka can change his appearance. This bodes well for the prospect of seeing him battle using strategies other than sheer physical might. It appears he has also mastered the art of reverting to his human shape, although I have my doubts that the Defense Corps will have such faith in him. Kikoru is another option. Such conceited and self-centered female characters annoy me.

I do not doubt that they will remain friends, even though she hurled his car out of piqued curiosity about a number. Having a spoiled brat with a blonde hairstyle and an inflated sense of self-importance is a staple of every anime, right? Ask politely if you can, and if not, set it away. For crying out loud, why did you have to toss it that way?
