A flashback to a time ago opens Chapter 309 of Queen Bee. The blonde idol fell for Taesu and eventually got him, even after he roughhoused her. Upon discovering that his mom was living alone, Taesu had the audacious idea to go to her apartment and hide there.
Mr. Jo has already found her and spoken to the pastor about it. The pastor talks about what happened with Taesu, the strange lady, Dalho, and Pyo. When Mr. Jo heard that Dalho had sent men after Pyo, he told Pastor that he, too, had sent men to assist
Pyo takes a kick to the rear as he defends himself on the flat. After Pyo stumbles around, beaten and battered from beating off the attackers, one of them takes out a knife and tries to kill him. Suddenly, the mobsters that belong to Mr. Jo appear out of nowhere, brandishing their swords, and they save Pyo.
Mr. Jo arrives after an hour of waiting, watches the thugs kneel, and then sits down to talk to Pyo. Questioning whether Dalsu was insufficient and expressing discontent with his earlier counsel to prevent further trouble.
Pyo admits that there are other motivations besides his mother’s that drive him to injure Dalho. While he was in hell, he showed Mr. Jo a portrait of Hyuna and told him the story of how she rescued him and gave him the strength to keep going. Since he was the one who killed Dalho, he is understandably furious and yells out threats to kill him.
