When they first met, MC and Mari were both very anxious, as we saw in the previous chapter. Surprisingly, she was standing behind him as he ducked behind a wall. Soon after they met, they decided to have lunch together.
Mari and her spouse are back in an earlier moment as the story jumps ahead. “Mari” seems anxious. Her spouse reassures her that dwelling on the problem will simply make it worse.
She informs him that the son of the Minwoo family is the one causing problems. But her husband reassures her that she shouldn’t stress out. He seems to be implying that there might have been issues inside the Minwoo family in the past. Mari denies informing her children about her journey.
She was excited to discuss the Minwoo family, particularly MC’s dad, with him. This could be a sign that MC’s father is sick; the news was serious, and it scared and worried MC.
After Mari left with MC’s necessary information, MC requested further time to speak with her. He informed them that he had accomplished his goals when they arrived at a larger area. He had previously stated that he was willing to leave Nari and Hari and end his life for the greater good.
Even considering abandoning them, he loves them deeply. So long as Mari and their dad can find better people for them, he would be willing to do it. Still, he refuses to give up easy. Minwoo has pledged to do all in his power to fulfill his commitment to his sisters and ensure their happiness. As soon as they finish conversing, Mari begins to leave, momentarily taken aback by his level of dedication.
