The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia Championship is to be held from May 19 to May 22. A total of 16 top teams from the South Asia region will go through a four-day battle to determine a champion. These sides include the top ten teams of PMPL South Asia Spring 2022 and the top six teams from PMPL Pakistan Spring 2022, which will compete in 24 matches on three classic maps. PMPL Pakistan 2022 Spring summary

The tournament was won by an amateur team, 52xRage, which made it all the way from the qualifiers. Superstar team Saltxi8 Esports came out on top in the league stages that lasted three weeks, but they went down a few points in the final and had to settle for third place.
Team TUF, another experienced team, finished second in both the league and the final. Team Qwerty, who were the 2021 Campus Championship champions in Pakistan, failed to qualify for the event.

PMPL South Asia 2022 Spring summary

The stalwarts were the most consistent team in both the esports league and the finals and were crowned. Dediu’s Gaius, who had a middle league stage, did well to finish second in the final, while league topper Seal Esports could not handle the pressure in the final and finished seventh.

Fan favourites Skylights and IHC were average on both stages. Elementrix, one of the popular Nepalese teams, could not make it to the championship.

What to expect and where to watch

Stalwart esports is in furious form and will be the top favourite of this tournament. In addition, his compatriots, SEAL Esports and IHC Esports are also very capable teams.

I8 Esports from Pakistan will also be one of the contenders to win the trophy, while we cannot miss the likes of Skylights and DRS Gaming, who are known for their consistency. The total prize pool on offer is 150k USD, and the tournament will be streamed on the YouTube channel of PUBG Mobile Pakistan / Esports from 5.30 pm onwards.
