Pokemon GO May 2024 Community Day Exclusive Event Features and More

An amazing event in Pokemon GO The Community Day which takes place in May 2024 was recently revealed by Niantic. The event takes place on May 19 from 2 pm to 5 pm local time and it features Bounsweet a beautiful Grass-type Pokemon from Pokemon Sun and Moon. Players will have a higher chance of discovering Bounsweet at this period. 

Also if they evolve Steenee into Tsareena during or immediately after the event you will receive the powerful move known as the High Jump Kick, stay tuned for more details about this amazing event.

Pokemon GO May 2024 Community Day Overview

• Date and Time: Scheduled for May 19, 2024, between 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm players can dive into the action-packed Community Day event.
• Increased Sightings: Bounsweet will likely be more common in the wild during the event.
• Exclusive Move: Evolve your Steenee into Tsareena during or within five hours after the event to unlock the potent Charged Attack High Jump Kick.
• Special Research: Engage in an exclusive Community Day Special Research Story.
• Bonus Bonanza: Enjoy double Candy rewards for every Pokemon captured, along with reduced Egg Hatch Distance during Incubation.
• Candy XL Boost: Trainers at level 31 and above have a doubled chance to receive Candy XL.
• Extended Item Durations: Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) will endure for three hours each.
• Trade Perks: Initiate an additional Special Trade for a total of two, with trades requiring 50% less Stardust.
• Bonus Raid Battles: Stay tuned for bonus raid battles commencing from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm local time on May 19, 2024.

The Bounsweet Community Day Special Research event is open to participants for a minimal cost of $1. Enjoy a variety of event perks as well such as reduced Egg Hatch Distance, double Candy for every Pokemon captured, discounted Stardust for trades, longer Incense durations and more. 

After the event ends players may participate in extra raid battles with four stars where they might run into Steenee. Niantic teased gamers with an early look of the May 2024 Community Day which included Bounsweet and Toucannon’s silhouette one day ahead of the formal announcement. The gamers were curious to see which creature would steal the show as a result of this triggering speculation.
