One of the best parts of any FPS game for players is keeping track of their stats. Looking at the numerical representation of players who have performed in the game over the course of months, seasons, or even years could be a great way to see the progress they have made.

Stats also make it easy for players to compare their play with their friends. The Overwatch franchise has a reputation for allowing players to see plenty of numbers to look into and the latest entry in the popular franchise is no different.

Now since the second season has gone live, players who played the game regularly for hours in season one might want to see their existing stats so they have a point of comparison for future play.

Fortunately, Overwatch 2 offers an easy way for players to check their stats and organize them by competitive season, mode, and more. In this article, we will be discussing how players can check their stats and understand them.

How to check gameplay stats in Overwatch 2?

All stats can be found on the Career Profile page. In order to get there, players need to select Career Profile from the main menu screen. Then, they will see a page that shows their total time played, time in each mode, their most-played heroes, and their time spent playing each role.

This screen has all modes by default, which have Quick Play/Unranked, Competitive, Deathmatch, Play vs. AI, and more. Players should note that if they play the first Overwatch with the same account, those stats can be found in these totals.

If players want to get more specific information on their stats or need to sort them by season, they will have to select the aptly-named Statistics tab at the top of the screen. This screen will show a plethora of numbers showing everything from their best kill streak to their lifetime eliminations.

Players can sort this information using some other ways as well. They can use the orange Change Hero button on the left side of the filters stats by hero. For instance, if players are looking for the number of solo kills or hero damage done with Junkrat, then they need to select Change Hero, then Junkrat.

If players want to see their stats by mode, they need to select the mode they are interested in from the All Modes dropdown menu. Stats from individual Competitive seasons can also be seen selecting the season they want to see from the second dropdown menu.
