For all the outcasts who battle with social anxiety, Komi Can’t Communicate offers a kind of safe sanctuary. The audience connected with Komi’s portrayal of a wallflower and loved the manga and later the anime, which contributed to its enormous success. The romantic comedy with a slice-of-life plot was adapted from Tomohito Oda’s same manga. Since May 18, 2016, it has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. On July 13, 2022, the second season of the show came to an end, and since then, viewers have been clamoring for more. The third season hasn’t yet been officially announced by the producers, though. The anime went on to win numerous awards, including the 2022 Crunchyroll Anime Award for Best Comedy and the 67th Shogakukan Manga Award.
