In a shocking turn of events, the first two teams have been eliminated from the BLAST Paris CS:GO Major after losing all three of their games in the Challenger stage of the competition. MOUZ and Fluxo were unable to secure a single victory, which is a major disappointment for any team. The first team to be eliminated was MOUZ, who lost to NiP, OG, and GamerLegion. Shortly after, Fluxo was eliminated by paiN Gaming, Monte, and Team Liquid. MOUZ and Fluxo Bow Out Early in BLAST Paris Major ‘CS:GO’ Tournament

Updates and Analysis from the BLAST Paris Major CS:GO Tournament: Who’s In and Who’s Out?

MOUZ’s early exit from the tournament is particularly surprising since they are currently ranked as the 11th best team in the world. Fans and analysts alike were not expecting to see them leave the competition so soon. On the other hand, Fluxo was expected to be eliminated early on, but they almost caused a major upset. They pushed Team Liquid to their limit in the elimination match and even managed to win a map. Although Liquid managed to win the final map by a narrow margin of 16-13, their performance throughout the tournament has been lackluster, and they need to step up their game if they want to qualify for the next stage.

Meanwhile, ENCE and G2 Esports have become the first two teams to qualify for the Legends Stage of the competition after winning all three of their matches. ENCE had an impressive run, defeating OG, NiP, and FaZe Clan to secure their spot, while G2 Esports had a slightly easier route, beating The MongolZ, Complexity, and Apeks.

With two rounds left in the Challengers Stage, six teams remain to qualify, and six teams are on the brink of elimination. FaZe, Apeks, Greyhound, NiP, paiN Gaming, and Forze Esports all have 2-1 records and need only one more win to secure their spot. Meanwhile, Complexity, The MongolZ, OG, Monte, Gamer Legion, and Team Liquid are 1-2 and must win their remaining games to advance.

The Major has already delivered some nail-biting games, with the overtime match between OG and NiP being a standout example. As the action continues, six best-of-three matches will take place to determine which teams advance, are knocked out, or get one last chance in the final decider matches on Thursday.

The eight teams that make it to the Legends Stage will join the eight teams that directly qualified for that stage to play another Swiss competition. The eight best teams will then advance to the Champions Stage, where the competition moves to the Accor Arena in Paris in front of a massive live crowd. This will be the last ever CS:GO Major, and the final champions will be crowned.
