Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh, one of India’s best mobile battle royale players and a former international representative, recently opened up about why he won’t be returning to Team XSpark (TX). Mavi, widely regarded as one of the finest shot-callers in the game’s history, has been away from the competitive scene for some time as he tries to make a comeback. However, he has recently run into some issues, with a top-tier BGMI scrim denying him a slot due to his lack of achievements as a team player. Mavi Defends His Decision Not to Re-Join Team XSpark.

During a recent livestream, one of Mavi’s viewers asked him if there was a chance he would return to TX and play with them again. Mavi responded by saying no and provided sound reasoning to support his decision. “No bro, not at all. If the team is not able to synchronize properly, then why do you want to force it over and over again? We tried to make it work for 1 to 1.5 years right in front of you guys but just look at the results,” said Mavi.

The Truth About Mavi’s Decision

Mavi’s decision not to return to TX is rooted in reality. During his time with the TX lineup, which started in October 2021, they only won a single tournament: the THUG Invitational: Season 4. Despite attempting multiple lineup changes during this time, nothing went their way, and each roster iteration simply fell apart. These fluctuations caused more stress and provided no stability to the team in any form or manner.

Mavi’s experience with TX was undoubtedly frustrating, and it’s easy to see why he doesn’t want to return. Playing on a team that cannot synchronize properly can lead to a host of problems, including communication breakdowns and failed strategies. These problems can be difficult to overcome, even for the most talented players.

A Glance at the Future

Despite his decision not to rejoin TX, Mavi remains optimistic about his friend Tanmay “Scout” Singh’s team. Scout is the owner of Team XSpark, and Mavi spoke about his friend’s ongoing efforts to turn the team’s fortunes around. Though things haven’t gone according to plan so far, Mavi believes that success could be just around the corner for Scout and his team.
