After Baek Danyeol’s deceitful plan was revealed to him, Manager Kim appears in Chapter 83 of Manager Kim as Code 66 attacking him. He tortured a lady who pretended to be Manager Kim’s wife, which ultimately led him to commit suicide in an effort to find Minji, the manager’s missing daughter.

They both engage in a heated argument and throw punches at one another. After grabbing his hair, Baek Danyeol began punching him. He tells Manager Kim that he was looking forward to punching him every day and that he was good for an oldie.

He was punched back by Kim, who then commanded him to stop babbling since they weren’t particularly close. In a flashback, Danyeol is seen being detained on his quest; when he awakens, he is on a hospital bed and wonders where the northern spies are. Danyeol only created things to exact revenge.

In the meantime, Baek Danyeol’s second scheme was proceeding as planned. They discovered the Minji daughter and her companion and placed a laser gun at her forehead as if they were going to shoot her. He always intended to blame Kim.

For Minji, Hansu, and the group, things did not appear good. The intelligence agencies knew where they were and were closing in on them. Danyeol ordered all the spies to assassinate the targets, but Manager Kim was planning ahead of him.
