In Yuuki’s afterlife, Fukuma questions whether his weariness isn’t a result of the Thunder Gods’ favor, while Kuusetsu suggests it could be a benefit of being a Slave. To Yuuki’s dismay, Fukuma says that Varvara is as strange as her Slave form.
In Pantheon, Varvara informs Yuuki that the reward has started, therefore he should remove his undergarments. Varvara sits on Yuuki’s chest and demands an admission of guilt, to which he complies. While initially perplexed, Yuuki eventually admits that he wishes he has the power of a peach during his fight with Rairen, despite being aware that he should be thankful for his Slave power.
Varvara stomps on Yuuki’s chest and scolds him in an angry outburst. After that, she takes off her foot and says she broke his fragile heart. After that, Varvara starts to undress too, saying it’s her turn. Confessing to each other strengthens their link, Varvara says to Yuuki, who is bewildered. Varvara exposes her chest to Yuuki after removing her underpants.
Then Varvara reveals to Yuuki that her mother was the boss of a criminal gang until Ren Yamashiro caught her. While incarcerated, Varvara paid a visit to her mother and informed her that she had joined the Anti-Demon Corps. Despite her mother’s frailty, Varvara showed little sympathy for her. Even though her mother had been kind to Varvara, the latter feels guilty about her frigid treatment of her. Varvara thinks the Kyouka would have treated her mother kindly if she had been in her shoes.
Next, Varvara demands that Yuuki not hold back as he urges her to remove this “weakness” from her. Yuuki finds a middle ground by paddling her on the buttocks; he is hesitant at first because he does not want to hurt her. Remembering another event where Tobera spanked Himari while teaching her to utilize Transience, Yuuki concludes it won’t hurt her too much this way.
As Yuuki points out, Varvara is now stronger when he banishes her weakness, but Varvara scolds her for slapping her butt. Both Yuuki and Varvara are happy to continue helping Kyouka, and Varvara tells Yuuki that he has helped her feel better about herself. The couple has a passionate kiss in front of the Kyouka statue.
