This groundbreaking manga series by Naoya Matsumoto is creating waves and is on the verge of becoming an international animation phenomenon. There’s no denying the manga’s popularity, and now fans are looking forward to the release of the anime based on it next year.
The release of a gripping promotional video for “Kaiju No. 8” has ratcheted up the anticipation for the film. The video shows the film’s most recognizable monster, Kafka, coming to life with astonishing realism. The PV was broadcast in Japan before a big anime convention, and it featured an actor dressed as Kafka, complete with a makeover and special effects that leave viewers feeling intimidated. Production I.G.’s anime event will feature new information about the highly anticipated show. The eagerly awaited “Kaiju No. 8” anime will finally premiere in 2024, and fans can’t wait to see it.

Kafka Hibino is the protagonist of this work; he yearns to enlist in the Japan Defense Force and combat the terrifying kaiju. But then things take a bizarre turn when he suddenly starts to morph into a kaiju himself.
The issue is available for fans to read in official capacities on the websites of Viz Media and Shueisha (the MANGAPlus website and the Shonen Jump+ app, respectively). The first two options allow users to read the first issue and the most recent three issues of a given series at no cost. The latter option is a subscription service where readers pay a fee to gain access to the complete series.
Starting in chapter 90 of Kaiju No. 8, Konomi Okonogi tells herself that Hoshina, the Defense Force’s best melee fighter, is invincible. Meanwhile, Hoshina persisted in her assault on Kaiju No. 12, eventually making it to the monster’s vital organs. However, No. 12 found out to have been concealing its vitals elsewhere.
After noticing this, Hoshina swiftly began slashing at No. 12 in an attempt to reach the core, which he eventually did in the neck. Defending himself from a hit from Hoshina, No. 12 broke another of the swordsman’s blades in the process. Hoshina pulled out a second sword and launched a simultaneous double assault on number 12.
While Okonogi pondered Hoshina’s origins, Hoshina was about to overheat after 12 minutes at full power. Lucky for us, Hoshina found an entry. In the final pages of the chapter, Number 12 acted as Hoshina and used the ninja’s own abilities against him.
