The fans are excited for Kagurabachi Chapter 23 which will be out soon. At the moment, our story is following Chihiro through the Sorcery and Enchanted Blade plot arc. As a young apprentice, he spends his days learning the trade from his illustrious father, Kunishige. Unfortunately for Chihiro, a band of wicked sorcerers known as the Hishaku eventually show up, kill Kunishige, and take his magical swords.

Chapter 22 of Kagurabachi takes place at the gang’s new hideout, where Hakuri and Shiba talk about Chihiro’s wishes for the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade. Following that, Char and Hinao extend a warm greeting to Chihiro upon his return. Chihiro expresses his regrets to Hinao for entrusting her care of Char. While Char is eager to help Chihiro with her arm, Chihiro instead requests that she tend to Hakuri’s face.
Shiba isn’t convinced they can put their faith in Hakuri, a member of the Sazanami family. Nonetheless, Chihiro claims Hakuri is an ally because Hakuri defended him from Hiyuki’s assault. Keeping the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade in their family’s storehouse, Hakuri informs Chihiro and Shiba, is Kyora, the Head of the Sazanami Family. The location of the storeroom is unknown to Hakuri.
In another part of the city, Tafuku and Hiyuki are on their way to the underground headquarters of Kamunabi Tokyo. They report back to other Kamunabi officials on the mission’s success. And since Chihiro will be there, Hiyuki informs the Kamunabi officials that he intends to attend the Rakuzaichi.
He has two goals: stealing the enchanted blade from Shinuchi and stealing it from Chihiro. The official informs him that they would not permit it. He mentions that at the Rakuzaichi event, they intend to place a bid on the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade. Another Kamunabi member reassures Hiyuki not to freak out about this news, even though he doesn’t understand it.
The member of the Kamunabi group elaborates on why their group would be better off bidding on the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade. At the same time, we cut to Kyora talking about the sacred blades and the Rakuzaichi event. And then Kyora goes back to the Sazanami Family Estate, where his relatives await his arrival.
