After concluding the previous chapter with Panda’s defeat at the hands of Hajime Kashimo, Akutami delves into Panda’s backstory in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 185. While the details about Panda’s relationship with Yaga and how he was created have previously been sparsely explained, the details about his three cores have never been clarified. A running gag in the series has been every character introducing Panda as “This is Panda,” with no elaboration. Even though it appears to be a mid-piece in a puzzle, having a part of the story is more than fans expected to read in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 185. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 185 raw scan shows Panda’s past, Hakari finds Kashimo

The focus shifted from Hakari to Panda in the previous chapter, who met Hajime Kashimo. Kashimo attacked Panda right away and ruthlessly defeated both his Gorilla core and his third core, his sister, who turned out to be a Triceratops. Kashimo’s Curse Energy possesses electrical properties, and their Cursed Technique can divide it into negative and positive charges. Kashimo now has a sure-hit technique that doesn’t require a Domain. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 185 is titled “Bye Bye,” according to the spoilers.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 185 begins with a young Panda playing in a park with a young Gorilla and a young Triceratops, according to spoilers. Panda constantly tries to win his brother’s approval, but he always ignores or bullies him, even hitting him once. In comparison, the sister is very gentle and loving to Panda, and she frequently chastises Gorilla for saying he should be kinder to their younger brother. Gorilla responds that Panda is both childish and weak, and that playing with him always results in the brothers losing.

However, despite being bullied and ignored, Panda always returns to his joyful and pleasant attitude, indicating that he is stronger than both of them. Panda adores his siblings so much that he would give up one of his prized possessions to play with them. One day, a strange balloon-shaped entity known as Father is seen dragging the brother and sister away. Gorilla asks if they’re leaving Panda behind, and then begins to protest that they can’t because their younger brother can’t fend for himself. The father informs Gorilla that Panda is leaving and that they will be left behind.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 185 returns to the present, where Kashimo uses his staff to poke at Panda’s severed head. He spears the head with his staff and inquires about Sukuna’s whereabouts once more. Panda is alive and conscious, but he stubbornly refuses to respond. Hakari appears out of nowhere in a burst of Curse Energy, asking Panda if he has lost any weight. Kashimo appears to be looking forward to fighting Hakari.

What To Expect From JJK 185?

Panda’s three cores are represented by the three children depicted in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 185. They had grown up together in another dimension, most likely in a Domain created by Yaga. Panda may have excelled at the playtime because it was a sort of test. He was chosen as the primary core after proving to be superior to both of his siblings, with the other two relegated to supporting roles.

According to the raw scans of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 185, Kashimo did not manage to destroy Panda’s other two cores. If he has, Panda has truly lost his entire family, having lost Masamichi to Gakuganji prior to the Culling Game. Hakari appears to have navigated the colony with far too much proficiency. It should be noted that neither Hakari nor Panda have revealed their total points. It’s unclear whether Hakari killed or defeated Charles. It is also unknown whether Hakari encountered other sorcerers before Charles and whether he gained any points from them.

The fight between Hakari and Kashimo should be the highlight of the Tokyo No. 2 Colony arc. Gojo and Yuta have praised Hakari as having the same or greater potential as them. While he is not yet a special grade sorcerer, Hakari is currently one of the strongest in the game, and having him fight Kashimo will undoubtedly be a spectacular battle.
