Version 2.2 of Honkai: Star Rail is here with lots of cool stuff! You’ll get to check out the new Planet of Festivities with the Astral Express Crew. Some characters are making a comeback, and there’s a new form called Trailblazer’s Harmony. They have also added a toughness mechanic and super break damage to make battles tougher. You can explore Light Cones and fun events to win rewards. They have also made some improvements to make the game even better.
Gamers are talking a lot about what might be in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2, even though the makers haven’t confirmed anything yet. Usually, the company reveals new things during special streams, so we shouldn’t believe all the rumors.
There’s talk about a new form for the main character Trailblazer in Version 2.2. It is called the Harmony form and leaks suggest it turns Trailblazer into something called an Imaginary unit. This form could give stat boosts to teammates. Some leaked images also show Trailblazer wearing a cool hat with Clockie, Penacony’s mascot.
In Version 2.2, two 5-star characters Robin and Boothill are coming back. There is also talk about Topaz and Fu Xuan or Argenti showing up again in the Version 2.2 banner but things could change before the release.

Second Phase: Boothill (Physical, The Hunt) and Fu Xuan (Quantum, Preservation) / Argenti (Physical, Erudition)
Things are a bit different in Version 2.2 because they haven’t shown us any new 4-star characters yet. People think Firefly might be one but we are not sure. If they wait much longer to reveal the character, Version 2.2 could be the first update without a 4-star banner character.
They are bringing in a new toughness thing for certain enemies in Version 2.2. Leaks say there’s something called the Weakness Break Effect but it only kicks in after you get through all the toughness layers. This means fights will be tougher and need more strategy with your team.
Along with the toughness thing, they are adding something called super break damage, but only for the Harmony Trailblazer. Leaks say it makes the Break Effect stronger and reduces toughness damage and this could change how people play the game.
Version 2.2 will have four new Light Cones each matching the new characters. Two of them are for the 5-star characters: Flowing Nightglow for Robin and Sailing Towards a Second Life for Boothill.
Also, players will get a free 4-star Harmony Light Cone called For Tomorrow’s Journey. Another one, Boundless Choreo is for Nihility characters like Acheron and Black Swan.
In Version 2.2, there will be exciting events where you can win Stellar Jades and materials to upgrade your stuff. Some of the events include All About Boothill, Treasures Lightward, Clocky: Dreamjoy Memoir, Fate’s Atlas and The Legend of the Galactic Baseballer.
HoYoverse is working on making Honkai: Star Rail easier to use with some updates. In Version 2.2, they are adding a Recommendation feature to help with Traces, making it simpler to upgrade skills for each character. Also, they are adding a social feature where you can see what other players are doing and they are muting the game’s audio when it’s minimized which is handy for PC players.
