Kim Dan may finally hit his breaking point in Jinx Chapter 21, which could be the turning point in his character. But because Manhwa is so ruthless, it will find a way for him to keep his sanity. Kim Dan is only being kept from going nuts by his unwillingness to break his promise. If not, he would lose it.
Kim Dan’s low self-esteem also contributes to his suffering since if he had any, he wouldn’t have endured as much. But the readers are also drawn to his life by his suffering. By a wide margin, he does not lead a good life compared to other BL protagonists, but his unique life also makes him memorable.
The long-awaited moment will finally arrive in Jinx Chapter 21, and it will influence how future chapters are told. If the hospital call is determined to be urgent, things may shift for the worse and Kim Dan may lose the will to live. But it won’t do; instead, it’s very probable that he will stick to his deal with Jaekyung.
Since he doesn’t have many friends and doesn’t consider himself to be particularly assertive, Kim will do whatever he can to help his grandmother with her medical expenses. Jaekyung has helped him get out of debt, therefore he has no reason to ever leave him. It is also evident that Kim has no interest in money.
If he had been, he would have made much better financial judgments and followed the right procedures to prevent debt. He will have to make a difficult decision once more given his impulse to save his grandma, which led him to make the bad decision. He will be obliged to accept his situation if he makes this decision. Whatever the situation, we will find out when Lezhin Comics publishes it.

Yes, there were times when there was hope for a better tomorrow, but it doesn’t matter. In retrospect, one is left to wonder if there may have been something more. All of it, however, is useless because the outcomes of all the occurrences were the same. At this point, it would even be prudent to give up hoping for things to improve for the better in the future. But now that the story has served its purpose (or done its damage, if you prefer), we are curious to find out what will happen to Kim Dan.
Furthermore, given the recent chapters’ events, it does appear as though things will change forever. The first thing we saw was Kim Dan being forced to live with Jaekyung, and the last thing we saw was him having his mind completely blown by everything that had been happening.
If it comes out that Jaekyung’s mechanization is to blame for all the awful things that have been happening recently, it will be a shocking turn of events. He doesn’t appear to be the sort to rearrange things at will just to score a date with Kim, though. And the narrative has often demonstrated that he acts impulsively and in the heat of the moment.
