Team Caravan’s ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle’ game will be available for iOS and Android users in 80 countries from May 23, as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the novel series. The game held a closed beta test from March 16 to March 22, and will be free to play with optional in-game purchases.
The game will allow players to experience the franchise’s story and battles with anime-like 3D graphics and familiar characters, such as Bell and Hestia. The anime’s cast members will reprise their roles in the game, and players can assemble their own party with various training elements such as “adventurer,” “assist,” and “scene cards,” and then embark on adventures.
The game features different battle modes, including battle royales where every other character is a foe, as well as autoplay battles where organization is key. Players can also use various in-game items and make use of special skills to win battles. The game’s theme song, “Mettle Link,” is performed by sajou no hana.

In addition to ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle,’ a separate smartphone role-playing game from South Korean game developer Neowiz and Japanese social networking platform Gree Entertainment is in the works. Neowiz is developing the game and will distribute it worldwide except in mainland China, while Gree Entertainment is credited for game planning.
Fans of the ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?’ series will be able to experience the franchise’s story and battles once again in the upcoming ‘Battle Chronicle’ game.
