The main story will not progress quickly enough in this arc. The current chapter of the manhwa corresponds to about the 126th or 127th chapter of the novel; however, the climactic events, such as Goo Ja-In’s incarceration and the revelation that Min Jaehyun is a member of Lotus, won’t occur until chapters 120–124.
The chapter ratio in manhwa is roughly 1.6, so expect at least another 7–8 chapters before this arc concludes. This manhwa, unlike most others, moves at a breakneck pace. It’s possible that they’ll focus too much on the novel’s less important features.
At first, the main character (MC), Min Jaehyun, does everything in his power to keep a secret. In order to save Kim Yoo-Jung and his mother, Min Jaehyun mentions to himself in chapter 23 that he must keep some of his skills and connections secret. Second, the single guild-related implication of Goo Ja-In has nothing to do with politics.
To be more specific, only the guild master’s mother, the manager, and the secretary at Lotus know that Min Jaehyun belongs to their guild; the manager and the secretary are siblings. So Goo Ja-In spent a lot of money trying to learn more about this but ultimately was unsuccessful.
The man from the previous chapter deduced, on the basis of Min Jaehyun’s behavior in avoiding interviews and Lotus’s subsequent protection from the public, that Min Jaehyun was a member of Lotus in chapters 48 and 49, following the theme of Dungeon.
