Ever since the developers introduced the voice chat option in Roblox, many players have wondered how to enable the feature and use it to chat with their friends. The feature was first created as a beta product in February last year and was released as a final build a couple of months ago.
However, currently, not all players can use this voice chat feature. According to Roblox, players above the age of 13 who have finished their age verification process can use the feature on the platform. This guide will help players to verify themselves and enable the voice chat feature in Roblox.
Enabling the feature can be divided into some steps which first require players to verify that they are above 13 years old and submit ID proof of the same. As per Roblox, lot of players are above 13 years and they “want to make sure that everyone can express themselves in a safe and respectful way. Being confident in a user’s age and identity is a critical foundation for metaverse safety and civility.”

Once players are verified, they can enable the voice chat feature within the settings menu. On PC, search for the gear icon on the upper right-hand corner, then from the drop-down menu, they need to go to Settings. There, players will find the Privacy tab, where they can enable Spatial Voice Chat.
For mobile users, they can click the circle with three dots in the bottom right-hand corner. Players need to scroll until they see the cog icon. After finding it, players need to click the option and then Privacy and enable the feature.
