It can be difficult to round up all of the Visionaries in Deathloop while trying to kill them all in one day. There’s no way to get all seven to the same place at the same time, as far as we can tell. However, some of them, such as Charlie and Fia, can be grouped together. Here’s everything you need to know about finding this mysterious couple in one room. Be warned: the Afternoon Delight mission is a little more—call let’s it complicated—than the rest.
This guide will, without a doubt, include plot spoilers. This is your last chance to back out. Are you still here? Okay. So, in Deathloop, Charlie and Fia had a covert connection. This is something you can learn for yourself by participating in Charlie’s Updaam LARP, Condition Detachment. However, here is only where you pick up this lead, and if you’ve come this far, you can probably skip that portion.
The best place to begin is on Fristad Rock in the afternoon. Walk all the way around the mountain to the right, along the coastline, to Fia’s bunker, which is located inside the mountain you see below. If you fall in, you risk losing your health or possibly drowning.
You’ll find a secret bunker marked 9 on the outside wall once you’ve worked your way around the rock structure. It’ll be open, but you won’t be able to proceed much further since you’ll end up in a room with an odd computer and many displays.
How to kill Charlie and Fia at the same time
Look for the accessible audio memos and notes to find out who owns this gadget. The room is locked so that he and Fia can spend private time together down the shaft of the tunnel on the other side of the locked door. You’ll need a passcode, which you won’t have right now. Instead, you’ll be given a four-digit code for a safe.
Where to use this passcode is revealed in the notes: You can go to Karl’s Bay at any time of day, so you can go there while working on your next level. Once there, search for the mysterious imagery-decorated building directly outside the level’s entrance.
Look locate the locked safe once you’ve gotten inside. It may be directly in front of you as you open the door, depending on the door you use. The passcode you found in Fristad Rock will be used here, so input it and look inside for Fia’s mysterious love letter.
Her strange phrasing is actually a cypher for a Fristad Rock environmental puzzle. In a later cycle, you’ll need to return at midday and return to the mountain, this time entering her bunker. Make sure you don’t set her off because she’s carrying a killswitch that might derail your inquiry. Avoid setting off the Eternalists’ alarms by taking her out quietly.
Meanwhile, keep an eye out for the enormous painted red symbols that are normally seen on the bunker’s walls or floors. Despite the fact that there are around a dozen of these paintings, four of them contain the information you seek.
Once you’ve identified all four, Fia’s encryption will be automatically decoded, and you’ll be given four unique numbers, each one or two digits long. The passcode to Charlie and Fia’s romantic hideaway is now in your possession.
With this, you’ll have everything you need to simultaneously kill Charlie and Fia in any loop you want. Because the code will never change, you can skip all of the previous stages and go to Fristad Rock in the afternoon to hunt and destroy. Return to their underground bunker, enter the code, descend the pumping station tunnel, and then sneak past them during their, eh, lovers’ argument to find the crucial lever. Pull it and watch the havoc that ensues.
You’ll want to book it out of the tunnel as soon as you pull that lever if you want to keep your life (and your Residuum). Return the way you came and ascend the shaft you used to descend via. On the level where you pushed the red lever, there’s even a shortcut. Look for the chamber with the red light by going the long way around the control room. To unlock the door, hack it. That way, you won’t have to travel all the way down before going back up. Giving you a few extra seconds to beat the rushing floods.
You’ll be back in the chamber with the strange computer, much above where the water rises. Once you reach the top. Fia and Charlie, on the other hand, will not be so fortunate. If you want to kill all seven Visionaries in one day. Killing the duo this manner is the greatest technique we know of.
