In this article, we’ll show you how to play Valorant without alerting others to your presence. It’s understandable if you wish to keep your gaming exploits private at times. We have a solution for you even if Valorant does not have a built-in option to appear offline. We’ll go over a tool called Deceive that allows you to play in stealth mode. Don’t worry; it’s safe, but we’ll also point you certain things to avoid. If you prefer another option, we’ll show you how to remove particular buddies quietly so you may enjoy your game in peace. Let’s get this party started! How to Hide Your Online Presence in Valorant

Stealth Mode: Using Deceive for Offline Play

Valorant lacks a native option for players to appear offline, but enter Deceive—a third-party solution that lets you navigate the game incognito. While Riot asserts the safety of this method, it’s essential to exercise caution, considering the unpredictable nature of Vanguard, Valorant’s anti-cheat system.

Download Deceive App: Begin by acquiring the Deceive app from GitHub. Ensure your Riot Client is inactive before proceeding.

Run as Administrator: Locate the Deceive.exe file, downloaded earlier, and run it as an administrator. Right-click on the file and choose “Run as Administrator.”

Choose Valorant: Open the Deceive app and select Valorant from the list of Riot Games. The app operates in the background, rendering you invisible to others.

Adjust Status: By default, you’ll be marked as “Offline” in-game. If you wish to alter your status, click on the Deceive app in your system tray and select “Status Type” for customization.

In-Game Confirmation: Once in Valorant, check your friends list for “Deceive Active.” Confirming its presence indicates the success of the method. Disable it by quitting the game and closing Deceive from the system tray.

Remember that using third-party applications like Deceive comes with inherent risks. Developers may modify Vanguard or the social appearance system, potentially rendering these methods ineffective.

Removing Players to Appear Offline

If using Deceive feels too precarious, an alternative method involves selectively appearing offline to specific players without resorting to third-party applications.

  • Locate and Remove: Launch Valorant and navigate to the Friends tab. Identify the player you want to appear offline to, right-click on their name, and select “Remove Friend.”
  • Offline Visibility: With the friend removed, you’ll now appear offline in their Valorant Friends tab, offering a more controlled approach to managing your online presence.

By embracing these methods, you can navigate Valorant discreetly, despite the absence of official status-changing options from Riot Games. Keep in mind that while blocking players, verifying their Valorant usernames can prevent any unexpected surprises.
