If you’re a World of Warcraft (WoW) player looking to get your hands on some high-level gear and mount customizations, then Fyrakk Assaults might be the perfect activity for you. But how exactly do these assaults work, and what can you expect from them? In this article, we’ll break down everything you need to know about Fyrakk Assaults, from joining them to getting the best rewards. How Fyrakk Assaults Work in World of Warcraft. How Fyrakk Assaults Work in World of Warcraft.

Joining a Fyrakk Assault

To join a Fyrakk Assault, you’ll need to head to either Ohn’ahran Plains or Azure Span, where a marker on your map will indicate the assault’s location for the week. Note that while you can see the assault on your map before reaching level 70, you won’t be able to participate until you’ve completed The Ancient Bargain, which is the third chapter of the 10.1 story campaign.

Getting Everburning Keys

Before you can complete the Fyrakk Assault, you’ll need to collect Everburning Keys to open the supply chest. To get these keys, you’ll need to kill enemies in the area to collect Ward of Ingira items, which you can then use at a Suffusion Crucible to summon elite enemies. These elite enemies drop Ward of Fyrakk items, which you can use at the Suffusion Mold to summon the Forgemaster. Defeating the Forgemaster will reward you with the three Everburning Keys you need to open the supply chest.

Completing the Fyrakk Assault

Once you have your Everburning Keys, it’s time to complete the Fyrakk Assault itself. Similar to other WoW assaults from past expansions, you’ll need to defeat regular enemies in a set area as well as elites that spawn in. As you defeat more enemies, a progress bar will fill up, and when it reaches 100%, Fyrakk will fly across the zone and drop a Disciple. You’ll need to defeat this new elite to complete the assault and earn your rewards.

One thing to note is that the Fyrakk Assault was bugged for some time, with the progress bar showing 100% but no Disciple spawning. While it’s unclear whether the event is completely fixed now, it’s worth keeping this in mind in case you run into similar trouble.

Fyrakk Assault Rewards

So, what rewards can you expect from completing a Fyrakk Assault? First off, you’ll receive upgradeable gear, which can be especially helpful if you’re looking to catch up with alts or just jumping into Dragonflight now. The gear you receive will have an item level of 402 or 405, depending on which part of the assault you complete.

You’ll also receive Whelpling’s Shadowflame Crest Fragments and Drake’s Shadowflame Crest Fragments, which can be used to customize your dragonriding mount. Additionally, you’ll receive a quest that rewards you with a Drake’s Shadowflame Crest, which allows you to upgrade higher-level gear items.

Fyrakk Assaults are a fun and rewarding activity for WoW players looking to gear up and customize their mounts. By following the steps outlined in this article, you should be able to successfully join a Fyrakk Assault, collect the necessary items, and complete the assault for some great rewards. Just remember to keep an eye out for any bugs or glitches, and good luck with your Fyrakk Assaults.
