A major update is coming for the character Boothill in Honkai Star Rail players are waiting for the release of Version 2.2 of the game. Everyone has been talking about Boothill but it has just been reported that he has become weaker. This information was obtained through a leak which indicates that someone knew about it before it was made public.

Boothill is known to be a powerful fighter but it appears that this may not be the case. Let’s explore more about Boothill’s situation and how it might impact the game. This change may have an impact on how players play the game and the characters they select.

Honkai Star Rail Leaks Big Nerf to Boothill and Other Major Adjustment

Even with this setback Boothill’s arrival should improve the gameplay in Version 2.2. His capacity for interaction with other upcoming characters like the support character Robin hints at tactical flexibility in team combinations. Robin is a character that is expected to be a Harmony character that focuses in increasing the damage output of teammates.

She gives players more tactical options to go along with Boothill’s offensive ability. Boothill’s nerf comes at an especially sad time as Version 2.2 is set to launch on May 8, the unexpected drop in Boothill’s power raises concerns about his capacity as a strong competitor for Damage Per Second (DPS) as players prepare for his arrival.

The recent launch of Acheron who has changed the DPS character position in the game makes this development much more significant. However recent information has revealed a major setback for fans of Boothill. Famous HoYoverse leaker HomDGCat revealed information suggesting that Boothill’s powers had been significantly reduced.

Firstly the overworld Basic ATK range that he usually uses to start battles has been greatly reduced. This important capability which used to be able to travel 40 metres can now only travel 15 metres. By making this change Boothill’s fighting range now more closely resembles that of other ranged characters such as March 7th and Qingque.

Boothill Background, Kit and Future Updates Details

Boothill first appears in Honkai Star Rail as a non-playable character (NPC) but later on he joins the Galaxy Rangers and is seen standing next to Acheron the recently revealed playable character.

Boothill’s official profile shows him as a revenge-driven character with a narrative arc firmly anchored in retaliation against the Interastral Peace Corporation. A gunslinger character with a focus on accurate single-target damage was suggested in early leaks about his abilities which surprised a lot of players.

Honkai Star Rail version 2.2 will have a wide range of characters with Boothill assisting as the main attraction. Other players on the roster including Robin represent a determined attempt to broaden the variety of gameplay elements and meet different play styles.

The changing environment of Honkai Star Rail promises an exciting journey full of unexpected encounters and strategic depth while players are looking forward to the release of Version 2.2.
