The chapter opens with Yeon Jeokha and the ghost monarch preparing for battle. If Jeokha wants the ghost monarch to spare his life, he must give his identity and the location of his fortress, the ghost monarch says. But Jeokha is uninterested in his offer since he knows he can defeat him.
