The accident occurred 16 years ago, taking the lives of 87 individuals in the refuge and the 9 heroes who had come to rescue them.

Everyone thought the accident was an act by devil people, but Yeonha’s Uncle knows the real culprits were the President of South Korea, the Chairman of Daehyun, and Yeonha’s Father. Yoo’s family disowned Uncle Yeonha after he was discovered digging at the scene of the accident, and Uncle Yeonha knows that Chae Jucheol is going to kill him if he is ever discovered again. After Yeonha and her team leave, they see Golems spreading havoc on the city streets.
They open fire on the Golems, but Nayoon has underestimated the monsters’ speed. When the Golem is about to crush Nayoon to death, Kim Hajin arrives and shields her. He cautions Nayoon to take extra care in the future and advises her to lengthen her blade.
