Rockstar Games has been keeping very busy for the past few weeks, be it the leak of the developmental footage of GTA 6 or the follow-up action on the alleged 18-year-old hacker.

The timing of the hack couldn’t have been worse for Rockstar as Tez2 has claimed that the mysterious screenshot of GTA 6 from GTA Trilogy will be out in the open in October leading up to the reveal of the game.

In GTAForums posts, Tez2 talked about the developer plans and if the latest entry in the GTA franchise will actually be revealed as part of the event.

Tez2 suggested that UFOs will start appearing in GTA Online in October as part of a Halloween event leading up to a potential GTA 6 reveal. The insider also suggested that the event will kick off on October 15 and will have 17 “stages” of UFO sightseeing and the last one will appear on the day of Halloween.

“The Fort Zancudo UFO, unlike the normal UFO model, will appear on Sunday, 23 October 2022,” Tez2 said.

However, the tipster also cleared that the game’s tease is purely speculation and it’s based on the mysterious image seen in the GTA Trilogy remaster. Last year, GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition players found a huge GTA 6 tease after they saw a new photo in the Lil’ Probe’Inn accompanied by snaps from Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5.

The photo showed a house that is nowhere to be found in current Rockstar games along with a UFO in the background. Players managed to determine that the photo appeared to be from Vice City, a recreation of Miami in the GTA world.

“Of course, now that Rockstar experienced a security breach, plans definitely changed. We don’t know whether that means a much sooner proper reveal or if the breach resulted in delaying the reveal,” the tipster added.

Tez2 has been a reliable source of GTA leaks in the past as well, so this new info could also have some substance. But readers should still take it with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement.
