Klee, the beloved character who made her debut back in 2020 in Genshin Impact, has captured the hearts of players through special annual events in the Golden Archipelago, captivating story quests, and more. As the upcoming 3.8 update for Genshin Impact introduces a brand-new skin for Klee, many players may find themselves tempted to acquire this charismatic character. If you’re currently contemplating whether or not to pull for Klee in Genshin Impact 3.8, we are here to provide you with a comprehensive breakdown of her abilities and assist you in making an informed decision.

Our analysis primarily focuses on Klee’s damage output and gameplay aspects. If you are drawn to Klee for reasons beyond gameplay, our opinion may not be the deciding factor in your choice to pull for characters you personally enjoy.

Is Klee Worth Pulling for in Genshin Impact Version 3.8?

While Klee’s damage output is certainly commendable, her vulnerability to staggering is her biggest drawback. This susceptibility often results in missed opportunities to execute her Charged Attacks. Additionally, her limited attack range, influenced by her petite stature and attack patterns, can be particularly bothersome. When considering overall strength, there are other Pyro characters who excel in dealing substantial damage, both when active on the field (such as Hu Tao and Yoimiya) and when in a supportive role (like Xiangling). Given the imminent arrival of Fontaine, we strongly advise against pulling for Klee.

Should You Invest in Klee’s Constellations

If you intend to utilize Klee as your primary DPS character, as a free-to-play player or a low spender, it is not recommended to invest in acquiring her Constellations. However, if you are open to utilizing her as a support character within high burst damage setups, her C2 Constellation might warrant consideration. By combining the Tenacity of the Milelith artifact set, the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers Catalyst, and her second Constellation’s Defense shred, you can significantly enhance the damage output of the subsequent character who takes the field. However, for the majority of players, the benefits gained from her Constellations do not outweigh the investment, as Klee performs exceptionally well even at C0.

Klee’s Constellations Overview:

  • C1 – Chained Reactions: Attacks and Skills possess a chance to summon sparks that bombard opponents, dealing damage equivalent to 120% of Sparks ‘n’ Splash’s damage.
  • C2 – Explosive Frags: Opponents hit by Jumpy Dumpty’s mines experience a 23% decrease in DEF for 10 seconds.
  • C3 – Exquisite Compound: Increases the level of Jumpy Dumpty by 3, with a maximum upgrade level of 15.
  • C4 – Sparkly Explosion: When Klee leaves the field while Sparks ‘n’ Splash is active, her departure triggers an explosion that deals AoE Pyro DMG equal to 555% of her ATK.
  • C5 – Nova Burst: Increases the level of Sparks ‘n’ Splash by 3, with a maximum upgrade level of 15.
  • C6 – Blazing Delight: While under the effects of Sparks ‘n’ Splash, Klee continuously regenerates 3 Energy for all party members (excluding Klee) every 3 seconds.

When Sparks ‘n’ Splash is utilized, all party members receive a 10% Pyro DMG Bonus for 25 seconds.

Understanding Klee’s Abilities

Below, we have provided a detailed overview of Klee’s talents. As a Pyro Catalyst user, she possesses the capability to consistently deal damage.

Normal Attack: Kaboom!

Klee’s normal and charged attacks serve as the primary sources of her explosive damage.

  • Normal Attack: Throws explosive projectiles, dealing AoE Pyro DMG with up to 3 explosive attacks.
  • Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash an AoE Pyro DMG attack upon opponents after a brief casting time.
  • Plunging Attack: Harnessing the power of Pyro, Klee dives from mid-air towards the ground, inflicting AoE Pyro DMG upon impact.

Elemental Skill: Jumpy Dumpty

Jumpy Dumpty offers an exhilarating and explosive experience!

Upon release, Jumpy Dumpty bounces three times, leaving behind a trail of fiery chaos with each bounce. On the third bounce, the bomb splits into numerous mines. These mines explode upon contact with opponents or after a short duration, causing AoE Pyro DMG.

  • Starts with 2 charges.
  • Mine duration: 15 seconds
  • Cooldown: 20 seconds per charge
  • Elemental Burst: Sparks ‘n’ Splash

Klee’s Blazing Delight! While active, Sparks ‘n’ Splash continuously summons fiery attacks against nearby opponents, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.

Passive Talent 1: Pounding Surprise

Whenever Jumpy Dumpty and Normal Attacks deal damage, Klee has a 50% chance to obtain an Explosive Spark. This Explosive Spark is consumed by the next Charged Attack, which costs no Stamina and deals 50% increased damage.

Passive Talent 2: Sparkling Burst

When Klee’s Charged Attack results in a CRIT Hit, all party members gain 2 Elemental Energy.

Passive Talent 3: All of My Treasures

we do not recommend pulling for Klee in Genshin Impact 3.8. Instead, we suggest saving your Primogems for Fontaine’s new characters, as they are likely to offer greater value and potential for your account. Make informed decisions based on your desired gameplay experience, and remember to prioritize characters that align with your playstyle and preferences.
