Gambit Esports is a Russian esports organization owned by MTS. They entered VALORANT on September 28, 2020 and quickly established themselves as one of the top CIS teams, and have since won the region’s VCT events a total of 3 times. It was established in January 2013 after the acquisition of the former League of Legends roster of Moscow Five. Gambit currently has teams competing in Apex Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Fortnite Battle Royale, and Valorant. Vladimir “Kayos” Ivanov currently manages the team. AS Monaco, Liga Stavok, LG UltraGear, Nervos Network and Abios are some of its proud partners.
In September 2020, Gambit Esports announced their VALORANT roster, consisting of Chronicle, d3ffo, sheydos, Sunset, and nAts, with Engh as the head coach. In the same month they signed k1n3c7 as an analyst for the team. On December 24th 2020, Gambit Esports dropped Sunset and decided to sign Redgar on January 19th 2021 as his replacement. Later on January 30th 2021, Gambit Esports transferred k1n3c7 to their Fortnite division.
