Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: New game trailer shows Piccolo DLC character

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for the second “Hero of Justice” DLC Pack and a free update for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game. The new trailer has shed light on the new DLC character Piccolo (Power Awakening) from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero anime film.

The character will be the second in the game’s “Hero of Justice DLC Pack 2.” The trailer also showcases the free update, including the new raid boss Cell Max, which will be released on March 23.

Hero of Justice DLC Pack 2 details

The game’s “Hero of Justice DLC Pack 1” brought Gamma 1, Gamma 2, and Gohan from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero anime film as playable characters. The DLC pack was introduced last fall. The “Hero of Justice DLC Pack 2” comes with Orange Piccolo (Power Awakening), and one other character.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Europe in October 2016. The game was introduced for PS4 in Japan in November 2016. The game also made its way to Nintendo Switch in Japan and the West in September 2017. The game was released for Google’s now-defunct Stadia gaming platform in December 2019.

The first Dragon Ball Xenoverse game came out in February 2015. It was released on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in North America, Japan, and Europe. The game also launched on PC via Steam in the same month. Until now, the game has shipped over 10 million copies across the globe.

Bandai Namco releases Tekken 8 trailer

Bandai Namco Entertainment America released a new trailer for its upcoming Tekken 8 fighting game on Friday. The new trailer showcases the new character named Paul Phoenix in all his glory.

The game is currently under development for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Bandai Namco Entertainment is yet to announce a release date. Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Jun Kazam, Paul Phoenix, Marshal Law, King, Jack-8, and Lars Alexandersson are set to make a comeback as playable characters.

The company announced Nina Williams as a playable character during its Tekken World Tour Final 2022 event on February 5. Tekken 7 was introduced for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam in June 2017. The Tekken: Bloodline anime series also premiered on Netflix in August 2022. The anime series follows the storyline of the Tekken 3 fighting game.
