Previously in Chapter 50

It’s remarkable how they continued to believe Sungyoon’s lies about his lack of talent. As in Chapter 1, he continues to believe that he is not talented. This demonstrates that, despite his growth in strength, his sense of self has not evolved.

Defeating the clone isn’t the only goal. The goal is to defeat an idealized version of him. Upgrading the clone would make the challenge much easier, but it would also reduce the benefit he would receive from it. And that would defeat the whole point of the challenge.

It’s all about pushing yourself further than you ever thought you could, and an ambitious person like Sungyoon would never settle for a safe option. Defeating the ultimate version in this challenge will teach him invaluable lessons about himself, such as how to turn the counter shield into a sword.

At the chapter’s finale, we learn that Sungyoon lost his mind after seeing that his copy can outmuscle him. Seeing Sungyoon made even his facsimile holy. Sungyoon has resolved to risk everything and go for it.

At first, he was hesitant because he didn’t think he could pull it off, but after witnessing the success of his replica, he realized that there was no reason he couldn’t, either. As a result, Sungyoon may experiment with new abilities in the upcoming chapter. To win against his double, he plans to employ all of his abilities.

Sungyoon must tell himself that he is not the same hopeless case he used to be. He must realize that overcoming each obstacle and struggle has strengthened him. That’s the only way he’ll be able to win against his own duplicate.
