Lucifero is without a doubt the most powerful villain Asta and his teammates have ever faced. Despite taking a beating from the Devil King, our heroes continue to fight him. When one is knocked down, there is always another available to take his place. The fight has now progressed to the point where Asta can overpower Lucifero. The new chapter will be both emotionally and intellectually satisfying. Asta is still fighting Lucifero, and memories of Licita and Leibe are shown. Lecita tells Leibe that she has a child who looks exactly like him as they sit together. Licita is mentioning Asta in this context.

Surprisingly, the panel depicts Lucifero being slashed in half, but the attack did not sever his heart. So there is still a chance that Lucifero will not be defeated. If this had been the end of the fight, there’s no reason Lucifero’s heart wouldn’t have been cut in half as well. As a result, it’s possible that Lucifero will reappearance in some form.
