On April 28, the dark epic manga Berserk will release a new chapter, taking us to the realm of Guts, Griffith, and Casca. Several individuals feared that the Band of the Hawk’s story would be incomplete after the passing of the series creator, Kentaro Miura. To carry on the story, author Kouji Mori and Studio Gaga used the late artist’s notes and talks. While it may not be as climactic as Miura’s planned ending, it will bring a close to the long-running narrative of Guts and Griffith, which has been considered one of the grittiest works of fantasy media ever.

What To Expect from the Upcoming Issue of the Manga

Young Animal, the manga publisher that has been publishing the Guts storyline for years, recently revealed that the latest chapter of the manga will be published in Japan on April 28. The Berserk final chapter depicted Guts struggling after Griffith had Casca in his hands, suggesting that The Black Swordsman may be in his darkest hour.

The manga will undoubtedly make a melancholy comeback given what has been occurring under Mouri and Gaga. The number of chapters needed to complete Guts’ voyage hasn’t been defined by the manga’s new creative team, but it is obvious that the series is getting close to its “endgame” at this time.

As the manga was first published in the 1980s, some fans have been awaiting for years to find out how the Band of the Hawk story will end. Given the number of cards Griffith has in his hand, it would be interesting to see if Guts has a possibility of eventually murdering his old colleague. Hopefully, the story’s ending will serve as a proper finish and pay tribute to Miura’s legacy.

What is it about?

Medieval Europe had an influence on Berserk’s setting. The story revolves around Griffith, the leader of a mercenary group known as the Band of the Hawk (Taka no Dan? ), and Guts, an orphaned mercenary warrior. Guts grow older and changes from a lonely child to a guy who understands the value of friendship.

As it examines the greatest and worst aspects of human nature, the novel has elements of both fantasy and horror. The manga has endured through the decades despite its underwhelming anime adaptations, which is evidence of Miura’s incredible storytelling talent.
