Nene Yukimori’s Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible manga is set to return to television screens on April 4, following delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The anime will air on the AT-X channel at 9:30 p.m., with Tokyo MX, BS11, and MBS also showing the series from the beginning. The anime’s production schedule was affected by COVID-19, which led to all episodes beyond episode 6 being postponed. Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible initially premiered on January 10, airing on multiple channels including the AT-X channel, Tokyo MX, BS11, and MBS. HIDIVE has been streaming the series as it airs. Fans of the anime can look forward to the return of this heart-warming tale about a high school girl named Kubo who can make herself invisible and her experiences in trying to connect with others. After COVID-19 Delay, Kubo “Won’t Let Me Disappear” Anime Set to Return on April 4th.

The anime is being produced by PINE JAM (Do It Yourself!!, Kageki Shoujo!!) and is being directed by Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend both seasons, Rainy Cocoa, Welcome to Rainy Color). The series’ scripts are being written by Yya Takahashi (Laughing Under the Clouds, Lupin III: Part IV, Luck & Logic), who is also in charge of supervising it, and the characters are being designed for animation by Yoshiko Sait (Comic Girls).

“Dramatic Janakutemo” (Even Though it’s Not Dramatic), the opening theme music, is being performed by Kana Hanazawa. The final theme tune, “Kasuka de Tashika,” is being performed by Dialogue+.

The manga is being published in English both online and physically by Viz Media. The manga is being made available in English via Shueisha’s MANGA Plus website, which provides the following plot summary:

Junta Shiraishi, a freshman in high school, is a mob character who is invisible even when he is directly next to you. However, his classmate Kubo, a “heroine-level beauty,” always sees him and is there to make fun of him. It is possible for anyone to become unique to someone, but it may be a little too soon to refer to these emotions as “love.” Maybe this story is still two steps away from being a romantic comedy; instead, let’s label it a cute comedy where a supporting character emerges.

In the October 2019 issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump journal, Yukimori debuted the manga. Additionally, the Shonen Jump+ website and app host the series. The 11th compilation book edition of the manga was released by Shueisha in December 2022. The manga’s fifth edition was released by Viz Media on January 3.

In the Weekly Young Jump issue from February 9, the manga’s final chapter, named “confession,” began. On Thursday, the manga’s primary plot came to a conclusion. The magazine then revealed that the manga will have an epilogue chapter in its 12th and final compiled book volume on April 18. After the primary story’s last chapter, an “extra special episode” takes place.
