The WPL 2024 auction witnessed intriguing developments as Australian stars Phoebe Litchfield and Annabel Sutherland made headlines with significant bids. Litchfield secured an INR 1 crore deal with Gujarat Giants, while Sutherland joined Delhi Capitals for a substantial INR 2 crore. Notably, Kashvee Gautam created history by becoming the most expensive uncapped player, clinching an impressive INR 2 crore contract with Gujarat Giants. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu and West Indies’ Deandra Dottin went unsold, adding unexpected twists to the proceedings.

UP Warriorz:

Key Acquisitions: Danni Wyatt (Rs 30 lakh), Vrinda Dinesh (Rs 1.3 crore), Gouher Sultana (Rs 10 lakh)
