Riaz Hassan, a promising cricketer from Afghanistan, has quickly made a mark in international matches despite being relatively new to the scene. He is known for his aggressive batting style and has earned praise for consistently bowling at a good pace with his right arm medium-paced deliveries. Hassan, born on November 7, 2002, in Nangarhar province, Afghanistan, discovered his passion for cricket early in life.

Demonstrating remarkable talent, he made his first-class debut for Amo Region in 2018 and has since contributed to various domestic teams in Afghanistan such as Kabul Eagles and Band-e-Amir Dragons. Additionally, Hassan has actively participated in the Shpageeza Cricket League, widely recognized as Afghanistan’s premier T20 league. In One Day Internationals (ODIs), Hassan has contributed 120 runs in 5 matches, with a top score of 50. He has also managed to take 2 wickets. In Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), he has scored 70 runs in 6 matches, with the highest score of 32.
