Mayank Markande is a professional Indian cricketer. On November 11, 1997, Mayank was born in the Bathinda district of Punjab state. He is a right arm leg spinner who is capable of taking multiple wickets while maintaining a low economy rate. Mayank has once represented the Indian cricket team in T20 Internationals against Australia. He plays for Punjab in domestic cricket and has been a part of multiple IPL teams since 2018. He made an excellent debut, taking 3 wickets on the first occasion and 4 in the second game. In December 2018, Mayank was a member of India’s squad for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Mayank finally had the opportunity to represent India internationally in 2019. He was chosen for India’s T20 international team for their February 2019 series against Australia. He played his first T20I for India against Australia on February 24, 2019. The Rajasthan Royals team in the IPL’s 2020–21 season included Mayank. Mumbai Indians once more signed Mayank at the IPL’s 2022 mega auctions. He was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad before the 2023 IPL season began for INR 50 lakhs.
